Closure of our branch in Spandau
After more than 30 years, our branch in Spandau will close on 30 May 2026. Until then, we will continue to be there for you as usual. You can find out what will happen after that, what will happen to your appointments and where we will look after you in the future in the blog article.
Spandau car dealership
Some news is not to be delivered lightly and this is one of them. After more than 30 years, we have to inform you today that our branch in Spandau will be closing its doors by the end of May 2026. Our lease for the site has not been extended and it is therefore unfortunately not possible to continue at the current location. The same applies to all other companies on the site. The site is currently being redeveloped.
Closure is not a farewell to you. CSB Schimmel Automobile is still available for you at our other locations in Berlin-Hohenschönhausen, Berlin-Schöneweide and Bernau. Your vehicle data and the entire service history will of course remain fully stored and available to our teams at all locations. As a contractual partner, we will of course continue to carry out all service and warranty work without restriction or interruption. Our branch in Spandau was run under the name CSB (Car Service Berlin) before we changed our name to CSB Schimmel Automobile and has been located in the western part of the city since 1995. Over all these years we have been able to look after thousands of customers and that is exactly what we would like to continue doing.
Many of your usual contacts are moving to our other branches so that you can count on the service you are used to. You will find the respective employees and their new locations directly below this text. We look forward to welcoming you there and say from the bottom of our hearts: Thank you!

Mr Litzinger will look after you across all locations from June 2026 and can still be reached via his usual telephone number.
Service consultant
Mr Rupnow
Mr Rupnow will move to our branch in Bernau from June 2026. All your vehicle data and service history will of course still be available to him.
Our location in Bernau can be reached by car in approx. 50 minutes. For the duration of your workshop visit, we can offer you a hire car on request or take you to Bernau station free of charge.

Mrs Gerlach
Mrs Gerlach will be available for you at our branch in Berlin-Schöneweide from June 2026. We look forward to welcoming you there.
Our Schöneweide location can be reached by car in around 40 minutes and is also easily accessible by public transport. We are happy to offer you a hire car for the duration of your visit to the workshop.
