Technical details

Thanks to the latest technology in the electronic stabilisation programme, the FUSO Canter is one of the safest commercial vehicles in its class. In all 4x2 models, the driver is supported by ABS with electronic brake force distribution and ESP as standard (except 6C18 4x4 and C9). Underride and side impact protection, powerful disc brakes (except 4x4) and a track-stabilising chassis ensure a safe journey even when fully loaded.

Eco efficiency is the name of the new FUSO complete package from the Daimler subsidiary. The term covers a number of innovations as standard. For example, increased injection pressure, an optimised cooling system. automatic start-stop system (ISS) and low-friction engine oil to reduce friction in the engine, fuel consumption is reduced by approx. 9% compared to its predecessor.

The commercial vehicle hybrid version of the already economically outstanding small truck is also impressive. A 3.0-litre engine is supported by a 40 kW electric motor and delivers impressive and sustainable fuel consumption. Thanks to the resulting fuel savings, you will have recouped the additional cost after just a few years.

In terms of use, the FUSO is unbeatable. Whatever your requirements, the light truck fulfils them all. From delivery services and gardening to the construction industry, the body of the commercial vehicle can be realised in different ways and offers something suitable for every use.

The new FUSO Canter models emphasise space and clarity. A gear lever integrated into the dashboard and a level floor create space for an additional person in the cab.
