In all 4x2 models, the driver is supported by ABS with electronic brake force distribution and ESP as standard (except 6C18 4x4 and C9). Underride and side impact protection, powerful disc brakes (except 4x4) and a track-stabilising chassis ensure a safe journey even when fully loaded.

Eco efficiency is the name of the new FUSO complete package from the Daimler subsidiary. The term covers a number of innovations as standard. For example, increased injection pressure, an optimised cooling system. automatic start-stop system (ISS) and low-friction engine oil to reduce friction in the engine, fuel consumption is reduced by approx. 9% compared to its predecessor.
