The IONIQ 3 marks the IONIQ family’s first foray into the compact class. It is fully electric, seats five people and, at just over four metres in length, remains easy to handle in everyday use. The Aero Hatch design creates more interior space than its compact dimensions would suggest.
What sets the IONIQ 3 apart lies in the details: the cosy interior, the distinctive look of the N Line and technology such as the new PLEOS Connect infotainment system. The following sections explore this in more detail. If you have any questions about a particular feature, please do not hesitate to contact us – we’ll be happy to advise you personally.

Inside, Hyundai has adopted the ‘Furnished Space’ concept: controls and storage compartments are arranged more like furniture than traditional car fittings. This creates a calm atmosphere and plenty of room to move around for five people. A flat floor and the long wheelbase provide generous legroom and headroom, even in the rear. The Megabox – an additional storage compartment under the boot floor – is a practical feature.
The IONIQ 3 N Line has a slightly sportier look. Unique design features both inside and out give it a more dynamic appearance and set it apart from the standard model. The features, which vary depending on the trim level, are listed in the technical specifications below.
The IONIQ 3 is available in eleven exterior colours, eight of which have been announced so far: Atlas WhiteSolid1
, Phantom BlackPearl1
, Lumen GreyPearl1

and Fierce RedMatte1
. These are complemented by coordinated interior colour schemes in black, beige/grey and blue/grey, as well as black with red accents in the NLine1
.
The Hyundai IONIQ 3 can not only charge its own battery, but also supply power to other devices. Thanks toVehicle-to-Load technology¹,
electrical devices can be powered via the integrated 230-volt socket or the external charging port. This turns the IONIQ 3 into a mobile energy storage unit – handy when travelling, camping or in everyday life.
