The new Hyundai IONIQ 6 redefines electric mobility. With its aerodynamic streamlined design and an outstanding CW value of just 0.21, the elegant electric saloon sets new standards in terms of efficiency and range. The facelift revised in 2026 brings numerous design improvements and even more electric power. Find out all about the innovative design, the impressive range of up to 680 km10
, the different drive variants and the extensive standard equipment of this Korean electric vehicle on this page.

The side section of the IONIQ 6 is a masterpiece of aerodynamics. The streamlined silhouette design has been consistently optimised to minimise air resistance and achieves an exceptional CW value (drag coefficient) of just 0.21. This value is better than almost any car on the market - even a Porsche 911 has a CW value of around 0.33, depending on the model and equipment. This aerodynamic efficiency contributes significantly to the outstanding electric range. The extended body and the long wheelbase of 2.95 metres also create a generous amount of space in the interior, especially on the second row of seats with impressive legroom.
The rear of the IONIQ 6 is characterised by the distinctive pixel lights, which create a continuous and striking light strip. The new bumpers feature horizontal design elements that visually widen the rear and give the saloon a powerful stance. A circumferential accent line sets additional visual accents and emphasises the dynamic appearance of the electric vehicle. The LED tail lights in pixel design provide an unmistakable light signature that is immediately recognisable even in the dark.
The interior of the IONIQ 6 combines state-of-the-art technology with sustainable design. The fully digital cockpit consists of two 12.3-inch displays that merge seamlessly into one another. The high-resolution touchscreen for the infotainment system offers full integration of Apple CarPlay2
and Android Auto2
. The navigation system with real-time traffic data is integrated as standard. Ambient lighting in various colours creates a pleasant atmosphere. The centre console is equipped with a wireless charging pad for smartphones. Special attention is paid to sustainable materials: the seat covers are made from ecologically tanned leather or recycled fabrics.
The IONIQ 6's reclining
seats1 are electrically adjustable in 8 positions and ensure maximum comfort, even on long journeys. They are optionally equipped with seat
heating1 and seat ventilation1
. In the higher equipment lines, the seats also have a memory function1
for the driver's seat and a lumbar
support1 for the front passenger
Innovative digital exterior mirrors (DSM)1
are available as an option for the IONIQ 6. These replace the conventional mirrors with compact cameras with a wide-angle lens. The images are displayed on high-resolution monitors in the interior. The advantage: the digital mirrors provide optimum visibility even in poor weather conditions such as rain, fog or strong sunlight.

The exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels in N Line design emphasise the powerful stance of the IONIQ 6. Their aerodynamically optimised design combines sportiness with efficiency.
The strikingly designed rear with sporty bumper and integrated diffuser emphasises the performance DNA of the N Line. The pronounced rear spoiler further emphasises the dynamic silhouette.
The characteristic pixel LED signature makes an unmistakable statement at the front and rear. The digital lighting design gives the IONIQ 6 N Line a futuristic, modern look.
The N Line sports seats with integrated N logo and red contrasting stitching offer optimum lateral support and a high level of comfort. The high-quality combination of materials emphasises the sporty character of the interior.
The perforated N Line sports steering wheel with red contrasting stitching and red drive mode button provides a real performance feel. Multifunctional controls allow full control directly on the steering wheel.
The wide curved display seamlessly combines the digital cockpit and infotainment. Red ambient lighting and sporty accents create a dynamic atmosphere in the interior.

The IONIQ 6 is equipped with numerous safety and driver assistance systems as standard. These include Motorway Assist 1.5 (HDA 1.5), which supports lane keeping and the distance to the vehicle in front on motorways. Emergency Brake Assist 1.5 (FCA 1.5) recognises pedestrians, cyclists and other vehicles and automatically initiates emergency braking if necessary. Both of these systems are available in extended versions in higher trim levels. Motorway Assist 2.0 (HDA 2.0)1
can not only maintain the distance, but also carry out overtaking manoeuvres automatically. Emergency Brake Assist 2.0 (FCA 2.0)1
also takes into account oncoming traffic and can initiate evasive manoeuvres, which contributes to even greater safety. Active Blind Spot Assist (BCA)1
, Rear Cross Traffic Alert with Emergency Braking (RCCA)1
, Exit Warning (SEW)1
and the intelligent Parking Assistant with Remote Control (RSPA 2.0)1
are available as options. A surround
view monitor1 and a head-up
display1 round off the comprehensive safety package.
The modern infotainment system of the IONIQ 6 leaves nothing to be desired. Over-the-air updates ensure that the vehicle is always up to date - both in terms of map and navigation data as well as vehicle software. The digital vehicle key 2.0 (UWB)1
enables the smartphone to be used as a key and the vehicle to be unlocked automatically. The integrated Bluelink system offers numerous connected services, including remote control of the air conditioning and charging process via app. A premium BOSE
sound system1 with multiple speakers for first-class sound is available as an option.
Despite its coupé-like lines, the IONIQ 6 offers a surprisingly generous boot capacity. There is 401 litres of boot space in the rear, which can be extended by folding down the 60:40 split rear seat backrest. The vehicle also has a frunk (front trunk) under the bonnet with a volume of 45 litres - ideal for charging cables and small items. Only with the 84 kWh battery does the frunk shrink to 14.5 litres of boot space. The vehicle measures 4,925 millimetres in length, 1,880 millimetres in width and 1,495 millimetres in height with a wheelbase of 2,950 metres
Despite its coupé-like lines, the IONIQ 6 offers a surprisingly generous boot capacity. The vehicle also has a frunk (front trunk) under the bonnet with a volume of 45 litres - ideal for charging cables and smaller items. The frunk volume is only reduced to 14.5 litres in conjunction with the 84 kWh battery and all-wheel drive. The vehicle measures 4,925 millimetres in length, 1,880 millimetres in width and 1,495 millimetres in height with a wheelbase of 2,950 millimetres.
The IONIQ 6 has a MacPherson strut suspension on the front axle and a multi-link suspension on the rear axle. This ensures a good balance between handling and ride comfort. The vehicle is fitted with 18-inch wheels as standard, with 19- or 20-inch alloy
wheels1 available as an option. The larger rims have a slightly negative effect on the range, but offer a sportier appearance and improved driving dynamics. The electric power steering is precisely tuned and provides good feedback.
8 years of security
Choosing a Hyundai always means opting for the highest quality. Quality that you can rely on for many years and that we now guarantee more extensively than ever before.

The Hyundai IONIQ 6 is available in three different drive variants to meet different mobility needs. The basic variant has a 63 kWh battery with rear-wheel drive20
and an output of 125 kW (170 PS). For longer ranges, an 84 kWh battery is available, which can also be combined with rear-wheel drive and delivers an output of 168 kW (229 PS)21
. The top version with all-wheel drive also uses a large 84 kWh battery22
and two electric motors for a system output of 239 kW (325 PS). This all-wheel drive version accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 5.1 seconds.
Thanks to the E-GMP platform (Electric Global Modular Platform) specially developed for electric vehicles, the IONIQ 6 achieves outstanding ranges according to WLTP. The basic version with a 63 kWh battery20
achieves a range of up to 521 km10
, while the version with a large 84 kWh
battery21 and rear-wheel drive achieves a range of up to 680 km10
- a top value in this vehicle class. Even the powerful all-wheel
drive version22 still achieves up to 650 km10
. In everyday use, this means that the IONIQ 6 is easily suitable for daily commutes as well as longer cross-country journeys. The low consumption according to WLTP is between 13.4 and 15.9 kWh per 100 km, depending on the model.
A particular highlight of the IONIQ 6 is the innovative 800-volt battery system, which enables ultra-fast charging. The high-voltage battery can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 18 minutes11
at a fast charging station with 350 kW charging power - perfect for short breaks on long journeys. The maximum charging capacity is up to 260 kW. However, the IONIQ 6 can also charge easily at conventional 400-volt charging stations. An on-board charger with up to 11 kW alternating current is available for charging at home. A full charge at the wallbox at home takes around 6 to 7 hours. The IONIQ 6 also has the Vehicle-to-Load function (V2L), which can be used to supply external devices with power directly from the vehicle battery.
