The interior of the Hyundai IONIQ 9 offers a choice of six or seven seats in three rows, plenty of space and first-class comfort. Swivelling seats in the second row
The swivelling individual seats in the second row of seats make the interior of the Hyundai IONIQ 9 even more flexible. They can be swivelled by up to 180 degrees, creating an inviting atmosphere. Features
Electric range of up to 620 kilometres according to WLTP
With its state-of-the-art electric drive and a remarkably low drag coefficient of just 0.259 cW, the Hyundai IONIQ 9 achieves a range of up to 620 km
according to WLTP10. The 110 kWh battery forms the centrepiece of the drive. Thanks to the innovative 800-volt charging technology, charging is particularly fast: at a 350-kW fast-charging station, the battery is charged from 10 to 80 per cent in just 24 minutes11
.
Relax seats with reclining function for maximum comfort
The reclining seats in the first and second rows of seats offer premium comfort at the highest level. They can be adjusted to various reclining positions and invite you to take a relaxing break. The modern design and high-quality materials create a luxurious atmosphere in the interior. The relax function for the driver and front passenger seats is standard equipment in the TECHNIQ and UNIQ. If you opt for the six-seater variant with two comfort single seats with a relax function in the second row, you can choose the 6-seater relax package in the UNIQ line for an additional charge1
of €1,000.

Choosing a Hyundai means opting for the highest quality. The vehicle warranty is valid for five years with no kilometre limit*.** For the high-voltage battery, you receive an extended warranty of eight years or up to 160,000 km**- whichever comes first. Technical details of the IONIQ 9
Electric platform with 800-volt technology and fast charging
The Hyundai IONIQ 9 is based on the innovative Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), which was specially developed for electric vehicles. This architecture enables shorter charging times, longer ranges and generous interior space. With a length of 5.06 metres, a width of 1.98 metres and a height of 1.79 metres, the vehicle is clearly in the upper class of electric SUVs. The wheelbase of 3.13 metres ensures plenty of freedom of movement across all three rows of seats. The IONIQ 9 is flexible when it comes to charging: a 350 kW fast charging station allows you to reach a charge level of 10 to 80 per cent11
in just 24 minutes. An AC wallbox with 11 kW is suitable for everyday use - a full charge from 10 to 100 per cent then takes around 10 hours.
Drive variants with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive
Depending on requirements, the IONIQ 9 is available with different drive variants:
- Rear-wheel drive: 160 kW (218 PS), 350 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 9.4 seconds, top speed 190 km/h
- All-wheel drive: 226 kW (307 PS), 605 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, top speed 200 km/h
- All-wheel drive Performance: 315 kW (428 PS), 700 Nm torque, 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds, top speed 200 km/h
The 110 kWh battery supplies all variants with sufficient energy for everyday use and longer journeys. The towing capacity is up to 1,600 kg for the rear-wheel drive and up to 2,500 kg for the all-wheel drive models (braked, 12%).
Space with six or seven seats in three rows
In the standard configuration, the IONIQ 9 offers seven seats across three rows of seats - ideal for families or anyone who needs a lot of space. Two six-seater variants are available in the UNIQ equipment line for an additional €1,000 each: the 6-seater Swivel package with swivelling individual seats or the 6-seater Relax package with comfort individual seats and relax function in the second row. The boot capacity ranges from 338 litres behind the third row of seats to 908 litres behind the second row up to a maximum of 2,419 litres (7-seater) or 2,494 litres (6-seater) with the seats folded down. In addition, the front luggage compartment ("frunk") offers up to 88 litres of storage space in the rear-wheel drive or 52 litres in the all-wheel drive models.
Power consumption and CO₂ emissions according to WLTP
The combined consumption of the IONIQ 9 is between 19.9 and 20.6 kWh per 100 kilometres according to the WLTP, depending on the drive variant and wheel size. As a purely electric vehicle, the IONIQ 9 does not produce any local CO₂ emissions during operation and is categorised in CO₂ class A.
Assistance systems and safety equipment
The IONIQ 9 comes with an extensive range of assistance systems as standard. These include Autonomous Emergency Brake Assist 2.0, Motorway Assist 2.0 with hand detection, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Assist, Cross Traffic Assist and Intelligent Traffic Sign Recognition. Front and rear parking assistance and reversing camera are also standard.
Additional functions are added depending on the equipment line: the TECHNIQ and UNIQ include a 360° camera, Park Assist with Remote Control 2.0, head-up display and digital interior mirror as standard. In the IONIQ 9 base line, the technology package with these features is available for a surcharge1
of €1,350.
