The motor of the plug-in hybrid all-wheel drive can drive 62 - 65 km purely electrically when the battery is fully charged. Due to the combined consumption and starting with the electric motor, the average consumption is very low. The Hyundai TUCSON is optionally available not only as a plug-in hybrid, but also with pure combustion engines (petrol & diesel) or as a conventional hybrid.

Characterised by Hyundai's "Vision T" design study, the new TUCSON impresses with geometric, sharply cut angles and edges and dynamic, wedge-shaped lines. The design language, reminiscent of a polished jewel, is reflected in the new look of the characteristic angular radiator grille and the design of the vehicle's side view. Transcendent daytime running lights merge with the radiator grille and are only visible when switched on. Tastefully and stylishly coordinated, the individual design elements form a modern and extraordinary SUV.

For Hyundai, the safety of its passengers always comes first. With 7 airbags including side airbags between the two front seats and a comprehensive package of assistance systems, the new Hyundai TUCSON will get you safely to your destination. In addition to standard integrated assistance systems such as Lane Departure Warning1, Driver Drowsiness Alert1 and Cross Traffic Alert1, the Hyundai TUCSON supports you with a new Motorway Assist1, Active Blind Spot Assist1 with monitor display and Remote Smart Parking Assist1. With Terrain Driving Mode1 and Electronic Chassis Control, the TUCSON can also be driven safely on difficult surfaces. Technical details
The interior is inspired by flowing water, which is translated in the new Hyundai TUCSON into organic lines and a visual connection between the dashboard, centre console and doors. The ambient lighting can be individually adjusted with 64 colour tones in ten brightness levels. Two 12.3-inch screens displaying the cockpit and navigation system are integrated into the open-plan digital dashboard. With Apple CarPlay2 and Android Auto2 and the latest Bluelink generation from Hyundai, not only can the navigation and sound system be controlled, but Apple or Google Calendar1 can now also be integrated. The multi-air technology used combines direct and indirect air vents, thus reducing the direct airflow towards the vehicle occupants. The three-zone automatic air conditioning provides a pleasant comfort experience for all passengers.
With a wide range of drive systems and hybrid technologies, consisting of two classic combustion engines and a diesel engine, three electric drive variants and four types of power transmission, no wishes remain unfulfilled. Hyundai developed the new TUCSON to reduce emissions while still maintaining driving pleasure. The wide range of tyre options with 17'', 18'' and 19'' variants were developed in cooperation with Continental and Michelin and optimised for comfort, running noise and handling. The newly developed intelligent electronic gearbox with sailing mode further enhances the performance of the new Hyundai TUCSON.
