Model highlights
After more than a decade, the Mitsubishi Grandis is celebrating its triumphant comeback. The popular family van, which was the ideal family car from 2003 to 2011, has a worthy successor. However, the new generation presents itself in a completely new guise: as a modern compact SUV with advanced features and innovative hybrid technology.

Tail
The new rear lights in the so-called sculptural hexagon design paired with the new lighting design give the Grandis a modern look.
Interior
The interior of the Grandis has been completely redesigned. In addition to a multifunction steering wheel with classic push buttons, a digital driver display and a 10.4-inch infotainment screen with Google integration have been installed. As you would expect from Mitsubishi, the interior has a high-quality feel.
Panorama glass roof
The absolute highlight of the Mitsubishi Grandis is the innovative "Smart-Glass"2
, which allows the panoramic glass roof to be dimmed at the touch of a button. The glass roof can be adjusted depending on the amount of sunlight, even with the help of voice control.
Engine
There are two drive variants to choose from. A 1.3-litre mild hybrid with 103 kW/140 hp1
. And a 1.8-litre full hybrid with 116 kW/158 hp1
.
**Difference between mild hybrid and full hybrid:**The main difference lies in the ability to drive purely electrically. The battery of a mild hybrid only supports the combustion engine with a small electric motor in order to reduce fuel consumption. Driving purely with the electric motor is therefore not possible. Full hybrids, on the other hand, can also drive purely electrically in city traffic or at low speeds.

The new Grandis offers many new functions to make your everyday life easier. With the Mitsubishi app, you always have an overview of your vehicle and can analyse current data and download updates that offer functional improvements directly so that your Mitsubishi Grandis is always up to date.
Google Integration
Thanks to the direct integration of the Google platform, you benefit from several new features. Google Maps supports your navigation with real-time maps and live traffic information. You can also download additional applications via the Google Play Store and the Google Assistant makes it easy to control important vehicle functions such as media playback, telephone and other features using a state-of-the-art voice assistant. Registration is simply carried out via the Google account, whereby the vehicle is simply stored as a new device. This means that contacts, addresses and favourite restaurants already stored are automatically transferred.
Apple CarPlay & Android Auto3
Another option for connecting your smartphone is Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The connection can be established wirelessly or via a USB-C cable, which charges the smartphone at the same time.
Sound system
The customised sound system from renowned manufacturer Harman Kardon2
transforms your Mitsubishi Grandis into a sound studio on wheels. Music, podcasts or radio programmes can be enjoyed in a completely new sound quality thanks to premium sound. A 10-channel system with nine loudspeakers and a subwoofer in the boot is used in the Grandis.
Important: The sound system described here is included as standard in your Grandis from the Diamant TOP trim level upwards.
Eco Predictive Assistant
The Eco Predictive Assistant gives the driver specific recommendations for selecting the optimum driving mode and helps to minimise fuel and energy consumption. The system proactively analyses which drive mode makes the most sense in which driving situation and optimally balances performance, consumption and range.
360-degree camera2
Thanks to the integrated 360-degree camera and ultrasonic sensors, parking, manoeuvring out of tight parking spaces or driving into narrow gateways is much more convenient and safer. The automatic reverse brake assist also provides support and helps to reliably avoid collisions.

When you buy a Mitsubishi Grandi, you receive a 5-year manufacturer's warranty up to 100,000 km. You can then extend the warranty up to three times for a further year each time with the Mitsubishi extended warranty. This means you are covered for a total of up to 8 years and 160,000 km.
