The standard equipment of all KONA Electric models includes a navigation system with a 12.25-inch touchscreen, a DAB+ radio with six speakers, Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ for smartphone integration, Hyundai Connected Car Services including Bluelink, LiveService and Lifetime MapCare™, the ability for over-the-air updates, a digital instrument display with a 12.25-inch colour display, Bluetooth® hands-free system, 2-zone automatic air conditioning, two USB-C ports in both the front and rear and 17-inch alloy wheels.⁵ The equipment also offers a comprehensive range of safety and assistance systems: These include Emergency Brake Assist 1.5 with detection of vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, Lane Departure Warning and Lane Keeping Assist, adaptive cruise control, intelligent traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking assistance with reversing camera, a light sensor and daytime running lights, full LED headlights with reflector technology, the high beam assistant, LED tail lights, the e-Call emergency call system, the occupant alarm, the front vehicle collision warning system and the camera-based attention assistant - all of these functions are also integrated into all KONA electric models at the factory.
Vehicle-to-load
The Hyundai KONA Electric offers a bidirectional onboard charging function called Vehicle-to-Load (V2L), which makes it possible to power any device or charge electrical appliances.³ In the interior, devices are connected to a standard socket in the rear centre console. Using an external socket and a V2L adapter, the driver can utilise the battery power of the parked vehicle, for example for electric 230-volt tools.

The Hyundai KONA Elektro not only offers an impressive pixel structure in the horizontal LED light strip, but also a wealth of other innovations: battery preconditioning enables safe charging and long winter ranges, while the charging flap system ensures the flow of electricity at temperatures as low as minus 30 degrees. The new charge opening lamp also ensures visibility at night. Drivers enjoy an optimal source of information thanks to the 12-inch head-up display on the windscreen. The virtual driving sound (e-ASD) creates a more intense driving experience and automatically adapts to driving speed and torque. The new i-PEDAL mode enables intuitive driving with just one pedal, while the intelligent recuperation system automatically adapts the braking force to the traffic flow. With constant over-the-air updates, the KONA always stays up to date without the need for workshop visits.
NFC technology allows the KONA to be locked, unlocked and started via smartphones or smartwatches. The Connected Car Navigation Cockpit (ccNC) offers advanced graphics and the Surround View Monitor (SVM) enables effortless parking from different angles. With the Bose Premium Sound System, USB-C ports and Bluelink® connectivity, the KONA also sets standards in terms of entertainment and connectivity.³ Driver assistance systems such as the camera-based Driver Attention Assist and Blind Spot Assist guarantee safety and comfort.³
