Powerful equipment - even from the basic version
The Hyundai KONA Elektro offers a high level of equipment from the entry-level version upwards. Depending on the model line, this includes a navigation system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a digital cockpit of the same size and a DAB+ radio with six speakers. Apple CarPlay™5
and Android Auto™5
are available for smartphone connectivity. Hyundai Connected Car Services including Bluelink®, LiveService and Lifetime MapCare™ also enable seamless connectivity and regular over-the-air updates - without the need for a workshop visit.
Safety & intelligent driver assistance
The KONA Electric also offers dual-zone automatic air conditioning, several USB-C ports at the front and rear and 17-inch alloy wheels. In terms of safety and assistance systems, the standard equipment includes autonomous emergency brake assist (FCA 1.5), lane following and lane keeping assist, an adaptive cruise control system, intelligent traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking aids, reversing camera, light sensor, LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights. Depending on the equipment line, full LED or full LED projection headlights3
are included. This is supplemented by occupant alert, e-Call emergency call system and the camera-based attention assistant.
The KONA Electric also scores points in comparison to other models from the manufacturer, such as the BAYON or KONA Hybrid, thanks to its particularly comprehensive level of assistance within the respective equipment line.
Comfort & interior functions
The Hyundai KONA Electric is designed for comfort: electrically assisted power steering, a modern recuperation system with shift paddles, ambient lighting (depending on model) and high-quality seat upholstery create a pleasant and intuitive driving experience. The cleverly divided rear seat bench (40:20:40) and the large boot with a volume of up to 1,300 litres offer plenty of space - a decisive advantage for families and frequent drivers.
Compared to conventional models with manual transmission, iMT or dual-clutch transmission (DCT), the KONA Electric completely eliminates the need for manual gear changes. The electric transmission is continuously variable and delivers instant torque, which has a positive effect on fuel consumption, smooth running and suitability for everyday use.
Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)
With the bidirectional onboard charging function "Vehicle-to-Load" (V2L), the Hyundai KONA Electric can supply external devices with power - either inside the vehicle via a socket in the centre console or outside via an adapter. This allows 230-volt devices such as tools, e-bikes or camping equipment to be powered directly from the vehicle battery. A real advantage in everyday mobile life and a technical highlight in the electric SUV segment.

according to WLTP, the KONA Electric offers impressive data for its segment. Depending on the wheel size, power consumption is between 14.6 and 16.5 kWh/100 km. These values remain pleasingly efficient even in real driving conditions, as the recuperation system makes optimum use of the braking energy.

Should I make an appointment for a test drive in advance?
We recommend booking an appointment. This ensures that your preferred model is available with the desired equipment - including the 150 kW (204 PS) version. During a test drive, you can test the electric acceleration, the recuperation system and the intuitive driving experience for yourself.
