Hyundai KONA Electric – an electric SUV with^{a range of} up to 510 km¹

The Hyundai KONA Electric offers a high level of equipment even in the entry-level version. Depending on the model range, this includes, amongst other things, a navigation system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a digital cockpit of the same size, and a DAB+ radio with six speakers. Apple^CarPlay™5

and Android^Auto™5

are available for smartphone connectivity. Hyundai Connected Car Services, including Bluelink®, LiveService and Lifetime MapCare™, also enable seamless connectivity and regular over-the-air updates – without the need to visit a garage.

The KONA Electric also features dual-zone automatic climate control, several USB-C ports at the front and rear, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Safety and driver-assistance systems include, amongst others, autonomous emergency braking (FCA 1.5), Lane Following and Lane Keeping Assist, adaptive cruise control, intelligent traffic sign recognition, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera, a light sensor, LED daytime running lights and LED rear lights as standard. Depending on the trim level, full-LED or^{full-LED projection headlights³}

are included. This is complemented by an occupant alarm, the e-Call emergency call system and the camera-based driver attention warning system.

Even when compared with other models from the manufacturer, such as the BAYON or KONA Hybrid, the KONA Electric stands out thanks to its particularly comprehensive range of driver assistance features within each trim level.

The Hyundai KONA Electric is designed with comfort in mind: electric power-assisted steering, a modern energy recovery system with paddle shifters, ambient lighting (depending on the model) and high-quality seat upholstery combine to create a pleasant and intuitive driving experience. The cleverly split rear seat bench (40:20:40) and the large boot with a capacity of up to 1,300 litres offer plenty of space – a key advantage for families and frequent drivers.

Compared to traditional models with manual, iMT or dual-clutch (DCT) gearboxes, the KONA Electric eliminates the need for manual gear changes entirely. The electric transmission operates continuously and delivers instant torque, which has a positive effect on fuel economy, smoothness and everyday practicality.

With the bidirectional ‘Vehicle-to-Load’ (V2L) onboard charging function, the Hyundai KONA Electric can supply power to external devices – either inside the vehicle via a socket in the centre console or outside via an adapter. This allows 230-volt devices such as tools, e-bikes or camping equipment to be powered directly from the vehicle’s battery. A real advantage in everyday mobile life and a technical highlight in the electric SUV segment.
