Interior, storage space and materials
The Hyundai KONA is larger than its predecessor, offering more space for passengers and luggage. The boot capacity is 466 litres according to the VDA standard and can be expanded to up to 1,300 litres by folding down the rear seats. The KONA Electric also features a 27-litre storage compartment under the bonnet.

Hyundai KONA Warranty
When you choose a Hyundai, you’re choosing proven quality and long-term peace of mind. The KONA comes with a five-year Hyundai manufacturer’s warranty with no mileage limit. The package also includes, amongst other things, a paintwork warranty and five free safety checks. For models with hybrid or electric powertrains, an extended warranty on the high-voltage battery also applies.

Engines and performance
The Hyundai KONA is available with modern petrol, hybrid and electric powertrains. The 1.0 T-GDI petrol engine delivers 115PS6
, whilst the 1.6 T-GDI delivers between1507

depending on the variant and is also available with all-wheel drive as an option. The hybrid version combines a 1.6 GDI petrol engine with an electric motor and achieves a combined output of 138PS9

Two electric variants are available for locally emission-free driving:
- A 99 kW (135 PS)¹⁰
electric motor with a 49 kWh battery, offering a range of up to 380km¹²
- A 150 kW (204 PS)¹¹
electric motor with a 65 kWh battery and a range of up to 510km¹²
according to WLTP. There is currently no diesel engine available for the Hyundai KONA.
Chassis and handling
The chassis is designed to strike a balance between comfort and stability. With optional all-wheel drive, the KONA offers additional traction on a variety of road surfaces. This makes the SUV suitable for both city driving and long journeys.
Safety and comfort features
Depending on the trim level, a wide range of modern systems are available. These include a head-up display, motorway assist, a 360-degree camera and a remote-controlled parking assistant. Safety features include a driver attention monitor, a blind-spot warning system and traffic sign recognition. The optional Bose sound system, featuring eight speakers and a subwoofer, delivers high-quality sound.
Digital connectivity and controls
The Hyundai KONA comes as standard with a curved panoramic display comprising two 12.3-inch screens. Over-the-air updates, Bluelink services and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are all included. A digital car key allows access via smartphone. The equipment is complemented by several USB-C ports, a wireless charging function and a 12 V socket.
