MG is making a clear statement in electromobility with the MG5 Electric, the world’s first fully electric estate car. With advanced technology, a comprehensive safety package and impressive range, the MG5 Electric is the ideal companion for families and fast-paced everyday life, with zero CO2 emissions. The boot capacity can be extended to 1,456 litres and a full charge can cover 400 km, making even longer journeys comfortable.
The advanced driving assistance package is always included with MG. Supporting safety systems make driving easier and provide protection.
Modern fast-charging technology allows the lithium-ion battery to be charged to 80 % within 30 minutes.
The design of the MG5 Electric estate is characterised by attractive proportions and flowing structures. Based on minimalism, simple and sporty elements were used for the design of the front and rear. The light design becomes part of the whole through its shape and sets horizontal accents. The radiator grille in a vertical stripe design creates an interesting contrast and emphasises the understated design.
The MG5 Electric is characterised above all by its intuitive and practical handling. With a boot capacity of 578 litres, which can be extended to 1,456 litres, and the smart positioning of the lithium-ion battery between the front and rear axles, the interior offers plenty of space. The MG5’s electric motor delivers an output of 135 kW (184 hp) with a torque of 280 Nm.
Thanks to the 3-phase on-board charger with max. 11 kW, the MG5 can be charged quite quickly at public charging stations (AC). It is also possible to charge the battery to 80% in just 30 minutes using innovative fast-charging technology (DC). MG always includes the comprehensive MG Pilot safety package. Modern assistance systems support you on the road and get you safely to your destination.
The MG5 Electric has not yet been homologated for the German market. This is expected for October 2021. Contact our sales team now for the latest information on MG models.
