Independent Opel workshop in Berlin - inspection, maintenance and repair

We are not an authorised Opel workshop, but work as an independent vehicle workshop independent of the brand. We offer Opel owners a high-performance alternative to the Opel dealership. Opel vehicles are based on platforms from General Motors or Stellantis, depending on the year of manufacture. Our mechatronics engineers regularly work on vehicles from both platform generations and are familiar with the current Opel engine families - from the tried-and-tested petrol engines and CDTi diesels to the latest electrified drive systems.

This dual platform expertise is an advantage that not every independent workshop can offer. The appropriate diagnostic technology for all model series is available. For spare parts, we use original Opel components or parts of equivalent quality in accordance with the manufacturer's standard.

Our pricing is transparent and without hidden surcharges. We answer questions about special equipment, recalls or upcoming service intervals just as competently as an Opel dealer, without you being tied to one. We also offer a professional service for older Opel models that are now considered classic or modern classics.

The value retention and operational safety of an Opel vehicle depend to a large extent on a complete service booklet. Our service workshop follows the Opel service schedule and carries out all the work specified in it:

• Oil change with manufacturer-compliant engine oil quality
• Replacement of all filter components at the prescribed interval
• Thorough inspection of the brake system, fluid levels and cooling system
• Electronic fault diagnosis with recording of safety and driving behaviour-related values
• Consideration of additional test points depending on the optional equipment installed

The European Block Exemption Regulation (BER) makes it clear that the manufacturer's warranty remains valid even if maintenance is carried out in an independent workshop, provided that all work is carried out professionally and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Our independent Opel workshop fully fulfils these requirements.

Certain Opel engines have model-specific requirements that are part of our workshop's daily business. For the popular 1.2 and 1.4-litre turbo engines, changing the timing chain is one of the well-known maintenance measures.

Experience has shown that CDTi diesel models exhibit wear on the dual mass flywheel or malfunctions on the EGR valve. Such factors have a direct effect on driving behaviour and the available engine power and should be checked promptly in the event of abnormalities.

The general range of repairs also includes

Our in-house paint shop at the Hohenschönhausen site is available for the repair of accident damage, parking bumps and weather-related paint damage. If an insurance claim is involved, we take over the complete claims management - from documentation to settlement with the insurer.

With the Corsa-e, Mokka-e and Astra Electric, Opel now offers several purely battery-powered models. The Grandland Hybrid combines a combustion engine with an electric motor, and the Combo-e and Zafira-e Life commercial vehicle variants are also available as fully electric versions. Our team has the required high-voltage qualification to work on these vehicles.

The scope of services includes

• Checking the cooling system and thermal management
• Software updates and electronic diagnostics
• Testing of the electric drivetrain

Particular attention is paid to comparing the actual range with the WLTP values specified by the manufacturer. If the measured power consumption deviates significantly from the standard values, this can indicate various factors - such as a decreasing battery capacity, increased rolling resistance or a defective component in the drive system. Our diagnostic technology allows these causes to be narrowed down in a targeted manner.

We carry out the main inspection (HU) and exhaust emissions test (AU) in our workshop, regardless of the manufacturer. A DEKRA inspector carries out the inspection directly on site. To ensure that your Opel passes the inspection at the first attempt, we recommend a technical check beforehand, during which any defects are recognised and rectified in good time.

Our seasonal wheel service includes the professional changing, balancing and, if required, storage of your summer or winter tyres. Our air conditioning system maintenance includes disinfecting the system, topping up the refrigerant and changing the filter. The car care service also offers professional vehicle preparation, covering services from hand washing to paint sealing. In addition, the Bear-Lock anti-theft device is a mechanical retrofit solution that effectively protects the transmission or steering against unauthorised access.
