Independent Renault workshop in Berlin - inspection, maintenance and repair

We are not an authorised Renault workshop and work as an independent garage, independent of the brand. For Renault owners, this means a fully-fledged alternative to the Renault dealership - with transparent pricing and no hidden additional costs.

Renault vehicles share numerous platforms and drive components with other Group brands via the Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi Alliance. As a workshop with many years of experience with Mitsubishi vehicles, our mechatronics engineers are familiar with many of the units and systems used in Renault models from day-to-day practice. The appropriate diagnostic technology for all Renault model series is available, as is access to original Renault spare parts and components of equivalent quality to manufacturer standards.

Whether you are looking for a new or used car, we can advise you just as competently as a Renault dealer on questions about special equipment, upcoming service intervals or recalls, without you being tied to one. Owners of older Renault models, which are now categorised as classic or modern classics, benefit from our many years of experience with older generations of vehicles.

Regular maintenance according to the Renault service plan forms the basis for operational safety and value retention. We carry out the full range of inspections in our workshop:

• Checking the fluid levels and cooling circuit
• Electronic fault diagnosis with recording of all safety-relevant data

If you have your Renault serviced in an independent workshop, you retain the manufacturer's warranty - this right is secured by the European Block Exemption Regulation (BER). The prerequisite is that all work is carried out professionally and in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Our independent Renault workshop fully fulfils these requirements.

Depending on the engine and year of manufacture, Renault vehicles have specific requirements that are part of our workshop's daily business. The widely used 1.2 TCe turbocharged petrol engine is known for problems with the timing chain and increased oil consumption - both issues that we routinely diagnose and rectify. Injector wear, turbocharger damage and problems with the particulate filter are among the most common causes of repair for the 1.5 dCi diesel, which was installed in many model series from Clio to Kangoo. For models with EDC dual-clutch gearboxes, we carry out gearbox oil changes and diagnose shift jerks or clutch wear.

Our range of repairs also includes

We repair bodywork and paint damage - whether caused by accidents, parking bumps or the weather - in our in-house paint shop at our Hohenschönhausen site. If an insurance claim is involved, we take over the complete claims management, from documentation to settlement with the insurer.

Renault is one of the manufacturers with the longest experience in the field of electromobility. The Zoe has been one of the best-selling electric vehicles in Europe for years. With the Megane E-Tech Electric and the Scenic E-Tech Electric, Renault has introduced the next generation, complemented by the Kangoo E-Tech and the E-Tech hybrid versions of the Clio, Captur and Austral. Our team has the required high-voltage qualification to work on these vehicles.

The scope of services includes

• Software updates and electronic diagnostics
• Testing of the electric drivetrain

In the case of E-Tech hybrids, we also check the interaction between the combustion engine and electric motor, which significantly influences the combined fuel and power consumption. If the actual range deviates significantly from the WLTP specifications, we narrow down the cause in a targeted manner - from battery capacity and tyre condition to software parameters.

Regardless of the vehicle brand, you can have the main inspection (HU) and exhaust emissions test (AU) carried out in our workshop. The inspection is carried out by a DEKRA inspector directly on site. We recommend a technical pre-check in advance: this allows any defects to be rectified in good time before they lead to a chargeable subsequent inspection.

The seasonal wheel service includes professional wheel changing, balancing and, on request, storage of your summer or winter wheels. We also offer air conditioning maintenance, which includes disinfection, refrigerant refilling and filter replacement. Our car care service is available for professional vehicle preparation - from hand washing to paint sealing.
