Smart mobility with alternative drives

According to estimates, the new cars registered this year will be on Germany’s roads for the next 10 to 15 years, as the car will remain the preferred means of transport. However, the presence of alternative drive systems is increasing in everyday life: electric vehicles are being spotted more and more frequently and public charging stations are spreading in inner-city areas and along motorways.

In order to conserve the dwindling resources of our environment while maintaining or increasing mobility, a rethink is necessary. The use of alternative drive systems is one of the ways in which this can be achieved. As announced in 2020, Hyundai will be expanding its IONIQ range into a sub-brand*, meaning that a wide range of attractive models in the alternative drive sector can be expected in the coming years.
