The MG Motor brand is steeped in tradition. The British car manufacturer originally produced small sports cars and has been doing so since Morris Garages was founded in 1924. After the two models MG ZS EV and MG EHS, the manufacturer is launching two more models on the market this year. We are already giving you an insight into the facts about the MG Marvel R and the MG5.
Electric
The first of the two new models from MG is the MG Marvel R Electric. The all-electric SUV is characterised by its flowing exterior design and expressive accents. Aerodynamic shapes, exciting lighting design and a powerful body form an attractive harmony.
The MG Marvel R Electric is powered by an advanced all-wheel drive system with three electric motors and thus achieves a total output of 212 kW (288 hp) and a torque of 665 Nm. With the help of innovative fast-charging technology, the MG Marvel R Electric can be charged to 80% within 30 minutes. When fully charged, the MG has a range of 400 kilometres.
Electric
MG is setting new standards in electromobility with the world's first fully electric estate car, the MG5 Electric. The family car impresses on the outside with its sporty minimalism and in the interior with its impressive amount of space. The boot volume can be increased from 578 litres to 1,456 litres, offering enough flexibility for a fast-paced everyday life.
The lithium-ion battery is installed between the front and rear axles to save space. With a full charge, the MG5 Electric can also cover a range of 400 kilometres. The estate's advanced electric motor achieves an output of 135 kW (184 PS) and a torque of 280 Nm. The MG5 is also equipped with fast-charging technology, which allows it to be charged to 80 % in 30 minutes.
The two new MG models have not yet been homologated for the German market. You will regularly receive new information on all MG models on our website.
