Technical details
A wide range of safety assistance systems from Hyundai SmartSense are included as standard to provide timely support in hectic everyday life: Lane Keeping Assist, Attention Assist and Autonomous Emergency Brake Assist including Forward Collision Warning with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection. The eCall automatic emergency call system contacts paramedics and emergency doctors automatically or at the touch of a button when the airbags are deployed.
The new Hyundai BAYON is powered by a 1.2 MPI, 1.0 T-GDI or 1.0 T-GDI with 48V hybrid system. Depending on the engine, the BAYON has an output of 120 hp and is equipped with a 5-MT, 6-MT, 6-iMT or 7-DCT transmission. With the electronic iMT clutch, so-called "sailing" is possible. This involves switching off the combustion engine while driving and decoupling it from the drivetrain. This reduces fuel consumption.
