Even the entry-level version of the BAYON comes with a comprehensive range of equipment that combines modern technology and digital operating convenience. This includes a 10.25-inch digital cockpit, a 10.25-inch touchscreen navigation system with Bluelink®, a wireless smartphone connection and user-friendly controls. A reversing camera, USB ports and numerous connectivity functions round off the basic equipment. The Hyundai BAYON is powered by an efficient 1.0 T-GDI three-cylinder engine with 66 kW (90 PS). The engine and transmission are tuned to ensure harmonious interaction and pleasantly smooth driving behaviour in everyday use. Depending on your personal preference, you can choose between manual or automatic transmission:

With a top speed of up to 174 km/h (depending on model), the BAYON has solid power reserves for motorway driving. Combined fuel consumption according to WLTP is between 5.8 and 5.9 litres per 100 km, with CO₂ emissions between 130 and 133 g/km - a good value in this segment of compact crossover vehicles.
Although the BAYON does not have its own mild hybrid system, it is still efficient and suitable for everyday use thanks to its engine and transmission management. With the Euro 6e-bis emissions standard, the Korean also fulfils current environmental standards.

The 1.0 T-GDI works with a precise injection system and turbocharger, which enables it to achieve stable power delivery with low operating costs. The optimised engine management supports harmonious acceleration behaviour and helps to keep real-world fuel consumption low.
