The Hyundai INSTER is available with two battery variants that are tailored to the different requirements of everyday urban driving. Both versions are powered by an efficient electric motor, which ensures a balanced power delivery and is particularly pleasant to drive in city traffic and on short journeys.
Battery and range variants:
42 kWh battery with a range of up to 327 kilometres (WLTP)7
49 kWh battery with a range of up to 370 kilometres (WLTP)8
The 42 kWh version is ideal for daily city driving and short commutes and reaches a top speed of up to 140 km/h. The larger 49 kWh battery offers additional range reserves for longer journeys outside of urban areas and enables a top speed of up to 150 km/h.
Assistance systems & safety
Depending on the equipment line, the Hyundai INSTER is equipped with modern assistance systems.

The Hyundai INSTER has been optimised for short charging times. The vehicle has an on-board charger with 11 kW (3-phase) for AC charging at the wallbox or public charging stations as standard. With DC fast charging, the battery reaches a charge level of 10 to 80 per cent within around 30 minutes5
. This enables flexible stopovers and minimises downtimes.
Consumption & emissions
Depending on the battery and tyres, the combined energy consumption is around 14.3 to 15.1 kWh per 100 km. As a purely electric car, the Hyundai INSTER is locally emission-free with a CO₂ value of 0 g/km. The vehicle therefore fulfils modern requirements for sustainable mobility and is particularly suitable for emission-conscious drivers.
Interior, spaciousness & boot
Despite its compact exterior dimensions, the INSTER offers a surprisingly generous amount of space. The variable boot has a capacity of 238 to 351 litres, and up to 1,059 litres with the rear seats folded down. This makes the vehicle suitable not only for city traffic, but also for shopping or short trips. The raised seating position also ensures good visibility in traffic.
